I can see arguments for them either hating or respecting each other or even going through a process where they experience both. So I’m actually curious to see what you guys think before I share my take on it

In all honesty, they would probably challenge each other to a public duel and try to kill each other in the match after making sure that there were provisions that would allow for that sort of thing.
