Okay so I came across an AI story generator, and normally I would never do anything like this with AI, since some don't like AI, also since FIMFIction doesn't allow AI Stories, and anyway, as much as I like AI, let's face it, AI can be really horrible sometimes. Let's get into this first I start with what I didn't like about it. Well first of all it wasn't really written as fanfiction, it was more like a review of fanfiction, than the story, It's full of mistakes, (I tried to fix what I could of the story). and I'm not saying that's a bad thing, since nobody is perfect, but you would think since it's AI, it would fix that. Another thing I thought was odd was it called Gilda a Pony, but then later it says she is a griffon, I mean okay! So Gilda is Living in Ponyville, Like what happened to Griffonstone, Grandpa Gruff, Gabby, Gallus, and other Griffons. Now one thing I did think was odd, but also liked, was that Troubleshoes can play the guitar, now I may be biased here, but can you picture trouble shoes playing the guitar? (mmm.. maybe I can). Another thing I thought was odd, was it said, the couple the story was talking about, and I quote ''was a ship destined for a happy ending''. I mean can you imagine if someone said that about, you and you're partner, like that? Okay let's get to what I liked about the story, I really liked how AI worded it how the AI wrote the style of the story, and of course the paring/shipping. (But the shipping thing was a me thing, so I guess that doesn't really count). At first, Gilda and Troubleshoes's relationship moved very slowly, Gilda was determined to keep Troubleshoes at arm's length and remain emotionally distant. However, once the two of them started spending more time together, it was undeniable that there was an unspoken bond between them. Eventually, after long talks under a star-filled sky, Gilda finally decided to take a leap of faith.

Although the two of them led very different lives, Gilda soon realized that the work to make their relationship work was worth it. Together, Gilda and Troubleshoes formed a bond that was strong and unique, basking in each other's differences and embracing the struggles that came with embracing romance.

Despite their differences, Gilda and Troubleshoes were inescapably drawn together each and every day. Gilda, more than anything she had experienced before, now found true joy in spending time with Troubleshoes, laughing, and living life to the fullest. In the end, it came down to one simple fact: Gilda and Troubleshoes were meant to be together.

The two of them grew closer, and soon it was clear to everyone that Gilda and Troubleshoes were a ship destined for a happy ending. Though it had taken Gilda some encouragement to open her heart to love, she was now thankful that she had allowed Troubleshoes to be a part of her life. As Gilda now says, 'Never give up on love, because when you least expect it, you'll find it!'

This is why I avoid AI. I've used ChatGPT, just typing in random ideas I have, and seeing what it comes up with. I got some cool ideas that I could make a story out of. Very broad outlines mind you, but something I can work with and develop into a proper story.

No comment on the story here though. Never really cared for Gilda or Troubleshoes.

I actually also just use chat GPT to give me some broad outlines of stories, I got some ideas in putting the prompt give me a broad outline for a story of Rainbow Dash getting married.

And it actually delivered very good outlines, I won’t be using any of them in my already existing stories, but I might make new stories kind of expanding on those outlines.

My general view on AI is that it does not produce high quality material. There is this one guy on deviantArt who creates AI generated anthro ponies. It is clearly obvious that they are AI because some of them have three arms, three legs, their tail is in the wrong place, Fluttershy is missing her wings in all of them but two. I'm surprised the folks who run that site hasn't taken them down and banned the guy since AI art is against the rules just as AI stories are banned here.

When it comes to AI in general, let's hope it stays dumb. The last thing we need is Skynet, right?

Another thing about AI, it is a shortcut. That guy on deviantArt was releasing an impossible amount of work in an extremely short amount of time. That along with the obvious errors is proof that it is AI. One had Twilight's tail growing out of the middle of her back, another had it detached entirely and another had it coming out of the front of her pants. If it weren't for those errors, they'd actually be pretty good. Overall though, AI is bad news in my opinion....then again I have watched the Terminator movies so that is what I associate with AI....Skynet.

It is also a job killer. One major problem I am concerned about are these self-driving vehicles. That is nothing more than a bunch of deadly car crashes waiting to happen. I hope the hell the airlines never go for this with their planes since that is how I get to all the pony conventions I go to, I trust people over AI.
