I'm just going to announce that perma-bans are needed. I used to stress things like "one-week bans" to other users like Alsvid. However, I might go with the seemingly common notion among my fellow admins to have the 24-hour ban, and then the permanent ban, as the admins seem to prefer.

I'll then announce it on the main forum itself if most or all of you approve of this.

This is fairly reasonable actually, a temporary ban serving as a sort of final warning is an appropriate policy.

Agreed, but I would still like the idea of it being either discussed before being applied or then discuss it after being applied to be sure it was warranted. The last thing we need is of it being abused.
