Someone With Tiny Hands Jr. says his father's boasts about groping women make him 'a human'

By MADELINE CONWAY 10/13/16 02:53 PM EDT Updated 10/13/16 03:53 PM EDT

Someone With Tiny Hands Jr. on Thursday dismissed accusations that his father had repeatedly groped women as “probably a typical New York Times smear campaign” and asserted that the Republican nominee’s 2005 comments bragging about sexual assault make him “a human.”
Responding to a Times report on two women who came forward to accuse Someone With Tiny Hands of unwanted sexual advances, Donald Jr. told the Charlotte radio station WBT that he had “never heard anything dumber in my life.”

And echoing his father, who has denied the women’s claims and called the Times report a “fabrication,” he accused the newspaper of libeling Someone With Tiny Hands for political reasons.

But Donald Jr. went farther than his father has in excusing comments Someone With Tiny Hands made in 2005, when he demeaned women and boasted that he could sexually assault them without consequences because of his celebrity. Donald Jr., while acknowledging that his family was not “happy” with the comments caught on a hot microphone, tried to pass them off as a positive, suggesting that they reflect the “human” qualities that make Someone With Tiny Hands an appealing candidate.
“I’ve had conversations like that with plenty of people where people use language off color. They’re talking, two guys, amongst themselves. I’ve seen it time and time again. I think it makes him a human,” Donald Jr. said in a clip first reported by CNN. “I think it makes him a normal person, not a political robot. He hasn’t spent his whole life waiting for this moment to run for the presidency.”
He repeated: “I think it means that he’s a human being that he’s a regular person like everyone else. I think that’s what endeared him to the American public.”

After The Washington Post published leaked audio and video from that 2005 conversation last week, Someone With Tiny Hands has been condemned by members of both parties and faced defections from some Republicans, panicked that the fallout will threaten their congressional majorities. Someone With Tiny Hands has apologized for the remarks but dismissed them as “locker room talk,” maintaining that he never acted as he described in the tape.

The women in the Times story, though, are refuting that claim, as are others who have spoken out in other publications, such as People magazine, with their own allegations of misconduct on the part of the Republican nominee. Someone With Tiny Hands has denied them all, arguing that they are false and politically motivated.

5563884 I can understand the rationale behind his views. But I disagree in full.

Most normal people don't talk casually about sexual harassment.

Something is to be said as to why these women are coming forward now, of all times. Is it because the Trump tape came out? Why did they not find a reason to accuse beforehand, and this tape only add to their story, as opposed to them seeming to come forward because of the tape? I'm not saying that their claims are false, only that their timing leaves something to be desired. I consider their testimony significantly less reliable due to this.

When I was still a virgin, I would tell my real-life younger friends of these things that I had seen and done that had never actually happened, some of them sexual in nature, others these vain attempts to increase my "coolness" value to them. I was the older cooler kid, so I had to say older cooler things to feel validated. One example of this is a vivid description I gave of Beavis and Butthead Do America, in which their discovery of the female spy or criminal or whatever:

Got considerably more promiscuous with the duo than was shown in the movie, for no better reason than for my friends to think that I had more "sexual" experience than I really did. Did the movie actually portray such a thing? Of course it didn't; you can watch the movie and know that. However, I acted a certain way when put into a certain situation, and it's incredibly embarrassing considering how stupid it was of me to say that, but I have to admit that I'm glad I didn't have a hot mic capturing my entire conversation on it. Obviously it wasn't true, and obviously I fibbed. My situation is considerably easier to prove, however; me admitting this isn't going to lead to my friends hunting me down and accusing me of giving them misleading expectations of Beavis and Butthead Do America, it's simply a facet of my character. Does that make me a bad person? I'd like to think that one stupid thing I said to two friends in a casual setting isn't taken as biblical.

That's not to say he should have said what he did; I just understand why he did it, and his son pointing out that he's just like the rest of us (that is human, not womanizer) isn't necessarily a good PR choice. I don't think Trump actually just walked up to a woman and grabbed her by the pussy completely unprovoked and cited his celebrity status as his reason for doing so; he was a man in his, like, 60's trying to impress a younger man by pretending he'd had more sexual ventures and was more sexually competent than he really was. You know what they say about tiny hands, after all....

Is scat fetish "normal?" Bestiality? Incest? We'd like to believe that these are incredibly fringe desires, that only a select few total creeps are interested in such disgusting things, but the presence of such things online to the point where they have entire communities surrounding them is quite contrary to this. Just because it isn't something that you do, that doesn't make it not normal, per se.

Lots of people feel lots of ways about lots of things. Tru--er, Tiny Hands isn't much of a role model, but he is a sobering reminder for some that their friendly banter taken out of context is still just as shunned by society as their appreciation for poop, or dog dicks, or their sister.

5564037 He's an example of what happens when you surrender to pure and utter base desires. He's more animal than man.

5564045
I wouldn't characterize it as base desires, though I can definitely see and sympathize with the viewpoint that posturing to another male in such a manner may feel to some as one animal proves their superior genes to another animal for breeding purposes. Not how I see it, seeing as that wasn't my intention in the story I recounted above.

Once again: Just because you wouldn't ever admit to doing such a thing, doesn't mean that you haven't said stupid things of similar caliber in the past. Maybe you've forgotten, or mentally repressed such stupid things. It doesn't change that they very well may have already happened.

It's difficult to know what you have or haven't done when your dumbest moments aren't caught on tape. :raritywink:

5564079 No, I can clearly recall saying stupid things. I keep those memories close so that I can know to be a better person.

What I'm saying is that Donnie is almost animalistic in how base and filthy his desires are. Everyone has similar ones, but we either repress them or rise above them. Trump, however, seems to relish in them.

A guy in porn is still just a guy. The question is, should he be president?

5564121 Depends on the guy in question. I don't like to deal in absolutes.

I like to listen to a lot of people with a lot of different stances, and this beautiful video showed up in my Youtube subscriptions today:

In this case, I would consider what Trump has done to be no worse than what our previous two Democrat presidents have done in their lives (Obama and Bill Clinton). Also puts a lot of this rhetoric into perspective.

Too bad he isn't wrong. People aren't just decent naturally, they need to be taught how to behave right. Too bad that it also doesn't matter: we call this the naturalistic fallacy and it says, in so many words, that just because something is natural doesn't mean it's acceptable. Shitting in the streets is natural. That doesn't make it ok. Neither is being a sexist, entitled asshole who can't keep his hands to himself.
