Our favorite monke boi is looking really good in 2D and absolutely ready for a scrap.

I'm getting huge Korra/San vibes from Annie (Mae Whitman's character). It's also nice to see an expansion of Skull Island's ecosystem, albeit bittersweet considering what happens to Skull Island later down the line (screw you, Camazotz), though I did kinda like the inclusion of the Giant Dodo from the RPG and the Vine Snakes from the Kong: Skull Island novelization and the Skullcrawlers translate pretty nicely to 2D animation.
