So I've watched one of Disney's oldies Mighty Joe Young. It's a story about a woman and a gorilla. They were both orphaned by a mad poacher, who seeks to kill the gorilla, Joe, after the ape escaped from the evil man and in the process, bit off his thumb and trigger finger.

And that got me into thinking about a story centered on either Fluttershy, or maybe Scootaloo, helping a seemingly dangerous, powerful, yet benevolent creature – say a Deinonychus – escape from hunters who seek to sell its hide for a high profit. That's just a thought I'd like to share.

Maybe Rescuers Down Under would be a good fit.

It may be an idea to have Scootaloo's parents Snap Shutter and Mane All good in Shire Lanka, as setting and characters. You'd have more of blank slate to explore with those two.

Another Season 9 pairing could include Daring Doo, Dr. Caballeron,and Ahuizotl's working together, going off events from "Daring Doubt".
