For ratings would y'all prefer something like the star system (1-5 stars, including half stars) or a scale of 1-10 or something more like 'needs work', 'solid story' 'enjoyable read' 'Fantastic!'.
I favor the latter, but I don't think it matters too much. The reasoning behind the score (which I hope would be shared?) is more interesting to me than the score itself.
I am leaning toward the one or two word rating system, myself. I think it is a tad more helpful than a number or star. I'm contemplating one more rank between 'needs work' and 'solid story'. I'm not sure how helpful 'readable' is as a rating though.
Would y'all like me to pick out a story from the group folders list and review it once a month or so? Does that sound fun?

That would be cool, maybe have a 'story of the month' folder set up.

It does sound fun.
I like the idea.

Seems like a good idea, seeing as you can give the read a bit of insight to what the story is about and what level of writing it is on.

Yes, the rating will be explained. I also just added a stickied thread with the templates of the reviews.
