Sugarcoat is down to earth and confident, as well as determined to win the Friendship Games.

Hmmm... When I was writing my story, I thought like this-
Sour Sweet- Rarity
Lemon Zest- Applejack (because of their fruit-related names.)
Sunny Flare- Pinkie Pie
Indigo Zap- Rainbow Dash
Sugarcoat- Fluttershy (Sugarcoat reminds me of the phrase "Go ahead and sugar coat it for me"... She would basically be Fluttershy up to 11 with a hint of bitterness.)
All in all, a pretty similar list. I like your personalities though!

For my story, it kind of goes like this;

Sour Sweet: She's mostly kind like Fluttershy, but definitely not as shy. But she can turn 'sour' if she wants to.

Indigo Zap: She can be a bit mean sometimes, and is a good teaser. Probably one of the more evil in the group.

Lemon Zest: Into fashion like Rarity, though she probably has more of a wild imagination than her. Lemon is also very creative.

Sunny Flare: Mostly the leader of the group. She is very smart and seems nice, and always gets her way.

Sugarcoat: Sugar is the most up to date girl on everything, wether it be the latest gossip or viral video. She also has mini obsessions from time to time.

I can't really compare most of them to the mane six (or humane six in this case) because really they're a lot different.
