This was a welcome surprise and an excellent first effort by a new writer. It takes place after Luna's return from the Moon, and gives us an insight into her's and her Sister's mindset. Though Luna does not use her archaic way of speaking, it still sounds like her, as does Celestia. One can feel the warmth flowing from them both into each other, which is a great testament to the writing.
This tale was just as long as it needed to be, no more, no less...anything additional could have been overdoing it. I'm always glad to see this dynamic played out between Celestia and Luna; a mix of pain, sorrow, and love.
