The grammar and spelling are near perfect with little to no mistakes. The portrayal of Luna and Nightmare Moon are well done and maintain consistency with the show canon, minus at one point in the story. The overall coherence of the story was good with single instance seeming out of place that distracts more than a little. As a sad story, it does fit the tone though one scene almost throws out this tone. As a dark story, there is hardly much that would be considered dark in tone so a big detriment to that part.

Overall, a very well done story.
