Maybe Blueblood now was only messing with her. But I think they are a good connection with comedy and maybe drama together.

I love it this universe. Maybe Princess Cadence appears only for took Shining armor's heart and Blueblood will fight with him because anypony can takes his cousin Heart.

Maybe will be some relation ships, and good laughs with them.

I'm not sure about it, but I think it was hinted that Cadence was in relation with other stallion(s).
