So I'm almost done building my new AR. But where I'm having trouble is the muzzle. I know I'm looking for a flash hider, and from the practical tests I've seen, the JP Enterprises works best but adds too much length. And I want it to be bayonet compatible. So I'm asking for some opinions and options. I definitely want a flash hider, bayonet compatible, and not obnoxiously long. Ideas?

Anything other than the stock flash hider that comes with all factory AR's may not take a bayonet. But I'm a compensator guy, so what few flash hiders I have looked at don't take bayonets.

Use a military surplus flash hider. They work, they're cheap, and they're bayonet compatible.

The A2 flash hider is the only one that i know of that is bayonet compatible. I'm sure there are others that are as well, but i don't know for sure.

What ar are you building? I finished building my new dbr snake and falkor Petra AR15
