You guys didn't know our bluegrass state has a history of railroads that tied in the state history. The L&N railroad is one of the most well known KY railroads in the state. Matter in fact I live near Madisonville and Hopkinsville and the train stations are still around and being used. Check them out if you live near them. Also I live in St.Charles, KY it's pretty small, but it was served by the Illinois Central Railroad at one time and the town was a major coal mining town. But now trains don't come into town anymore.
