Statera is, as their name implies, a balance of many different people coming together for a common cause. There are families that have been within the organization for millennia, while most are scouted out due to their supernatural attunement. Statera is an organization similar to a bureaucracy built upon rules to protect and govern its members from sliding one way or another to maintain balance, as well as keep them out of the public eye. Their goal is to maintain a balance of harmony and chaos in the supernatural world.

Statera has been, and strives to remain, a lucrative group working in the back drops of society. There is no level of government, gang, or social circles that they either don’t have direct control over, or have means to sway. This is to enforce the correct balance within the world. One act of violence may give way to greater good, where one good deed could lead to a death. Noticing this balance and maintaining it is their endeavor. But they are not in short supply of resources.

Most of Statera is comprised of the deceased, or those of the spiritual realm. They tend to be the ones to broker deals with demons and mediate territorial disputes within this realm.The appearance of angels have not been made since the Purge. There is talk that a few remain on Terra after The Gate was closed, though there is very little evidence to prove this.

Statera has a very strict policy with its members when dealing with personal matters. Because many members are from vastly different nations and backgrounds, differences come to pass. There is a zero tolerance approach when these instances occur.

When working within the public, members express the utmost in keeping their membership and intentions secret. Any false documentation they carry is actual documentation within that government, cultural customs are taught when needed, and readily available tools are never far.

Demons, spirits, and ghosts are not to be ‘dealt’ with on site. As long as they are within the parameters of what is ‘normal’ for them, they are free to do as they please. Members are only allowed to share Statera information with other members. Non-Statera family members will be left in the dark, no matter what may occur.

Statera members will follow the laws and customs of any nation their members happen to be in. If a member is caught stealing and did so for personal reasons, they will suffer to the full extent of that law. If, however, they were forced to do so to protect secrets for Statera then they will have the organization's full support behind them.

Population: Unknown (With most of their members being the deceased, a count has never been made.)

Available resources: Any and everything. (Statera has logged and stored all historical artifacts. From Excalibur, to the pet rock, and from Neptunes trident to Tom, they have it.)

Requisition process: Long and arduous, depending. (Requisitions can be simple or complicated, depending on the item being asked, and the ranking of the member.)
