4490721 URA! I'm honestly begging for her in the show.

As much as it might be good, IMO Hasbro's plan for Sunset is to remain in the human world. The progression of her character, from villain to second lead to main character shows this; she's the equivalent of Twilight in the human world, and possibly even bigger than her. Bringing her into the main FiM show would bring her back to second fiddle to Twilight, or else will result in conflict with her, both of which aren't exactly what Sunset fans want. As a spin-off (and ultimately, if ever, as a world unto itself with some interaction to Equestria every now and then), EqG will be a world where it would be Sunset and the human Mane 5, and perhaps the human Twilight as antagonist (or possibly the Dazzlings will return?).
