Scarlet looked over to Lunar. "It looks like some ancient evil managed to break out of it's magic seal after several hundreds of years. For some reason, we were skipped while it did something with everypony else. It also managed to hide the elements of harmony.... It looks like the princesses are out as well...." Scarlet continued as she began to think of what they might need to do next.

"Lunar, I know some of what you can do, and you know of my..... abilities. I think we, and maybe the rest of you all, need to go and find the elements. Maybe they'll have a way of showing us where everypony was taken to, or even a way to beat this Shadow," Scarlet said as she thought back to several stories she'd read before.

Scarlet's mood soured slightly at the less than eager responses from the others. "Well," she started, "I'm not a hero either. I don't think any of us are yet. But that doesn't matter. No matter what we see ourselves as, we're who have to save everypony now. We can just go to our houses, hide, wait for somepony else to save everyone..."

"But I'm not, I'm going to go and see who I can save. I have to try, I want to try, and... I want to do it as myself," Scarlet said as she began reaching towards the bracelets on her left fore-hoof. With a gentle tug, they came off and a visible wave of magic rippled over her form as an illusion was pealed away. What was left standing still had the same yellow coat as the filly, and the same colors in her mane and tail, but that was where the similarities ended.

She now had two tails, one red and the other blue. Her horn had disappeared, and now Scarlet sported a pair of crimson scaled bat pony wings. Her mouth reached to just an inch below her ears, and her eyes, even though still behind the simple glasses, were completely red with diamond shaped pupils. When she turned to look at the other, her sweet smile revealed a set of sharp pointed teeth.

Zakroon stood still. No not him. Zakroon being native to Zebrica. Was well terrified of of his name. The name of one of the worst things ever known. Kivuli. Even the name of it was terrifying. Slowly but surely Zakroon moved backwards. Alas Zakroon, knew he must help them for they probably knew nothing about Zebrican Shamanism, or alchemy.
