I love this pic so much. Though too Jar-Jar credit he did become less of a spaz in episode II. Still, it's because of him that the first half of episode I is really hard too watch.

...But seriously, I never actually had anything against Jar Jar. Sure, he was kinda annoying, but I didn't find him intolerable. I certainly didn't think he deserved the frankly psychotic levels of hate he got from everyone else.

(Plus, he's kind of an important character, what with being the key to the Naboo victory in in the first movie, and the guy who more or less handed the galaxy over to Palpatine in the second one.)
