You can't say, I'm now going to be sexually attracted to chairs, and suddenly you are. It doesn't work that way. You're either heterosexual or you're not.

So, of course, people will get offended by your evil crusades. It's exactly the same as hating somebody for being black. You can spew "I'm just hating your sin of blackness." all you want, but it won't make it true. Being black is not a sin, and it's not something a person can control.
