Smash 4 is getting its second Kid Icarus character, in the form of Lady Palutena! From the looks of things, she'll be making extensive use of the equippable Powers from Uprising, both from Solo mode and Together mode. I suppose that would explain where those Powers are coming from, as well as why we can't use them in certain situations (as always, fuck you Chapter 18!).

Interesting use of the Chaos Kin tracks in the trailer though. And does anyone else think that Palutena sounds different in the trailer? Antonio del Rio is reprising his role as the voice of Pit, and Viridi sounds the same, but Palutena sounds like she has a different voice actor.

Also, Dark Pit showing up at the end of the trailer. Nintendo, you fucking tease!

So, any thoughts?

At 1:04, Pit's highlights in his hair make it look like there's a halo on him.

I think that's the same voice actress for Palutena. Don't forget that she also does Lightning in FF13, so mix a little bit of that voice into Palutena to get a sense of what she may sound like being aggressive.
