Read a book yesterday, Phule's Paradise by Robert Asprin, and a character in it inspired a potentially funny idea for Fluttershy. I don't really have more than the idea itself, so if someone else wants to make some use of it it's all theirs.

Basically, in the book here's a character, nicknamed "Mother." In face-to-face conversations she's as bad as episode one Fluttershy, if not worse. Key words here, however, are "face-to-face." Once put in charge of communications, where she relies announcements and never actually speaks to anyone up front, she talks like a radio DJ (which, incidentally was her job prior to joining the space Legion the characters are in).

My idea is basically applying this to Fluttershy. Basically, Fluttershy as a DJ who, long as nopony can see her, is incredibly good. Possibly teamed up with Vinyl Scratch.
