By species, a Yaksha—a sub deity which may be utterly wicked or blessedly kind.
As she arrived in a land that had not yet found word of her terrifying rampages, the people there mistook her as the Yakushi-nyourai; a Buddhist of healing with divine power. The faith she was given—she liked it.
To make certain this faith would not simply vanish, she taught herself medicine and travelled the lands as this Yakushi-nyourai.
Until a human took away her shrine and the accumulated faith she had collected, buried inside and so praised by the humans as a greater god.
This would not do. Surely the one who took the tree and placed it in the Land of Illusion would be the shameless perpetrator? She thought she'd might like a rematch.

She is terribly indecisive and fearful. She also is scared of losing or breaking her glasses. Or getting them smudged.
