Are you familiar with The Writer's Group? You are now! Are you familiar with their thread rules? If not, go read them. They're basically a lot like this group's forum thread rules. Not exactly as much, but definitely a lot like it.

1) Don’t spam threads
Many people will spam the threads with uselessness, like saying they were bored, so they made some silly, stupid thread saying so. Don't do that. It's just annoying.

2) We are not your personal blog
Meaning this isn't a place where you tell us about how you just became single; YAY! Keep things Button Mash related, please!

3) Do not link people to malicious websites
Doing so might result in a ban. Nuff said.

4) Keep all threads Mlp:Fim and/or group related
This one is fairly easy to understand. If it doesn’t pertain to the show or Button Mash in any way, it shouldn't be up.

6) No X-rated pictures and keep swearing to a dull roar
In other words, Button Mash is still a gentle little colt, only eight years old. He doesn't need to see or hear that trash talk or naughtiness.

8) Please classify your topic in the thread name
I liked this one a lot, so I'm totally stealing it!
-Game:
A simple, timely activity anyone can enjoy,
-Discussion:
A chat regarding interesting topics, sometimes evolving into strong debates, but should never escalate into an argument.
-Challenge:
Daring others to do something constructive, mostly for fun. Try not to peer pressure, though.
-Guide:
A well thought out explanation on how to do something. If it isn't compelling and helpful, it might be seen as spam.
