Zeke suddely hears Driz's voice outside of the jar. He runs to the wall, smacking against it with a hoof.

Driz yelped, jumping backwards and nearly dropping the jar with excitement; her wings flared in joy. "Bound! Spiral! Pearl, Theo! You have to come here!"

Theo was thinking how to respond to Sea Bound's questioning when Driz called out to them.

Oh sweet Celestia, I needed this distraction.
But you are not off the hook yet. Both sea and I will make sure of that.

Whatever Driz was getting excited over, it was probably important. With this in mind she gives Theo one last hard glare before turning her attention to her pegasus friend.

"Figure something out, Driz?"

All the mare could do was nod rapidly, staring at the jar like it was the most important item in Equestria. "I talked to it, and it...it...it shook! I think somepony in there is trying to communicate with me!" She stared at the others, violet eyes wide. "What if it's Screwball or Zeke? Or both!"

"Fantastic." Theo said with a mild amount of sarcasm. He then approached the Jar. "We still have no idea how to get them out."

Look at it this way. At least they are still alive.
Still doesn't solve our situation.
Be a little more optimistic. Optimism built the hot air balloon.
And pessimism built the parachute. I'm just saying it isn't anything to get excited over yet.
Perhaps we could ask them how to open it.

"Shut up Pearl." Theo said out loud. It seems to be becoming a common phrase for him. "Wait... That's a good idea actually." He bent down towards the artifact. "Attention Zeke or Screwball!" He shouted. "How do we get the jar open?!"

After a short silence, Spiral made a suggestion: "Magic? That is how they got in there after all."

Driz waited, head cocked slightly, chest heaving as she waited for a response from the jar; upon discovering that there was none she let out a defeated sigh and looked up sorrowfully at the others. "Maybe it was just a hallucination or something. Maybe I didn't really hear anything at all."
