Excellent choices. I myself am a big fan of the M1 Grand and the M1911. You've certainly got a lot of selections there. If you had to pick, which would be your absolute favorite?

The Enterprise

Fate. Protects fools, little children, and ships named Enterprise.

Yes indeed! I always loved that particular line. Reminds me of another one from Star Trek online... "The Enterprise, huh? Well that name certainly has a great track record."

Fact is, you name a ship Enterprise, and you almost guarantee it a pivotal place in history.

1798100

Well... here's the basic's. (My complete list would take ages to make)

MBT: Leopard 2A6M CAN
Fixed-Wing: CF-188A Hornet
Helo: CH-53E Super Stallion

Sidearm: P-08 Luger & Browning Hi-Power
Carbine: Colt Canada C8A1
Heavy Rifle: Fabrique Nationale C1A1 & M14
Shotgun: Mossberg 590A1
LMG: Rheinmetall MG3
HMG: FN M2HB-QCB

Ah, a very diverse list. I'm impressed! Mossbergs are not to be messed with. As for the Hornet, there is no theater of war a Hornet can't be effective in.

LewisClarke

1798323
If you had to chose one to go into battle with, what would it be?

1798366

Oh yeah, the Hornet's a damn good platform buddy. Also, I would take the Leopard 2A6M CAN. Because you can't go wrong with heavy armour.

(I would've added "Assault Troops of Choice" to my list, but I'm not one for starting forum fires)

LewisClarke

1798598
I wouldn't have objected to that. And I doubt anyone else would either. And no, you can't go wrong with heavy armor. Having rolling thunder with you just works.

1798704

Well, in that case...

Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. History's heavy hittin' three.

LewisClarke

1799128
Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, huh? That's unexpected. Can't say I'd consider them the big three, but I suppose it could make sense. Just wondering, where are you from Run?

1799208
Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada. Formerly home to CFB Chatham.

Oh mama. I'm going to be here for a while. Your Challenge Has Been Accepted.

You know. It started out as a cute little list about ten items long.

Now look at it! If you ever meet me in real life, don't ask for my favorite anything unless you want to stand there for an hour.

Still. I genuinely do like what's listed.

1799317

Impressive, bud. I wanted to do that, a complete list. But this computer is too unstable for anything time-consuming.

1799297
Ah. I see what you mean.

1799317
Challenge approved. Well done. ISKV. Well done indeed. You most certainly have a place here. I'm still going through the list!

1799371>>1799390

Three. Hours. I wasted three hours listing everything.

Now imagine if I posted pictures of everything on here.

Three hours well spent.

LewisClarke

1799476
Yes. Yes it would have.

1798263 when are the M1 Garand/Carbine, M3 "Grease Gun", Mossberg 590,P-38 Lightning, P-51 Mustang, Iowa Class Battleships in the fic?

I'd list all the guns I like but that's because I own or am buying them.

Land of the free, home of the badass.

1801377 Had to do it. 'Murica would be offended if I didn't.:moustache:

The Canon Rebel Ti2 with 32 GB storage and 50mm lens....The bravest men who ever go in the battlefield and the ones who are armed with cameras and not guns...in my option.

1798100
I'm a soldier I'll get sent into battle with nothing more than a M4 or 249 (hate that thing), few grenades and my IOTV combat armor.
I would like to have a M465 assault rifle with a grenade launcher, M1911 with the extra long mags, an AA-12 with mags full of Frag-12 armmo, and Dragonskin body armor.
I will love to have a Bolo tank. Nothing quit says "F*ck off/You die now" as a tank that is bigger than some battleships, has a high class A.I. to control all the weapons, shields, and can shoot ships down from orbit. I would specifically like to have the MK XXXIII model the last model made, and that one can fly at 500kph! And I will take any starship name Enterprise for the above reasons.

Sorry for any spelling errors I'm on my IPod.

LewisClarke
Group Admin

1801896
I completely agree. I'd enlist the next day if they'd give me all of that and say go wild. But one must ask the question regarding the AA-12, does anyone really need that kind of power? I mean, you'd be a god of war. Simply unstoppable.
1801633
I'd have to agree. Takes guts to go into a war zone with nothing to shoot but a camera. Still, you have to laugh at the fact that the camera is a Canon... Not so unarmed after all, huh?
1801510
For good measure, go ahead and post ALL of the armed president pictures in that set. I love them that much and I think they have a place here.

1802005 indeed. have you heard of Robert Capa?

LewisClarke
Group Admin

1802021
I'm afraid I have not.

check him out! great war photographer.
Robert Capa

1802005 Heresy: there is never to much firepower! Only opening fire and I am reloading! Besides the AA-12 is short range so yeah.

LewisClarke
Group Admin

1802199
Of course. What what I thinking? You can never have enough blam!

LewisClarke

Wow. Glad you posted that. Amazed that he was right there in the thick of it.

Indeed. I'm a art history student in college so this strikes my interest. if you like this you should check out Larry Burrows
