Fim-INK: how long have you been a brony?
Regidar: I've been a brony since 2012, when someone on FurAffinity recommended I watch the show
Regidar: joined fimfiction the day I became a brony

Fim-INK: before MLP that is
Regidar: before MLP?
Regidar: I wrote a few hunger games stuff
Regidar: and a few pieces of furry stuff, although furry isn't really fan fiction
Fim-INK: you have a lot of clop and dark stories, why is that?
Regidar: Well, I wouldn't say I have a lot of dark stories, but I can't deny I write a lot of clopfics
Regidar: I, as someone with little sexual experience, writes clop as a joke
Regidar: I generally write my clop as absurd and comedic in order to be funny
Fim-INK: many comments I have read call you a troll writer or that your stories are toll fics
Regidar: that is true
Regidar: I do write "trollfics"
Regidar: although as one fimfic author, bats, puts it: "They're more of accidental comedies"
Regidar: I write my stories to piss people without sense of humor off
Regidar: and to entertain those with a sense of humor
Regidar: or at least, with my sense of humor
Fim-INK: it makes sense to me
Fim-INK: now you are the fim fic member with the most comments to date, what do you think about that?
Regidar: well
Regidar: I think I have far too much free time
Fim-INK: your fav creation is if you must
Fim-INK: why
Regidar: well, I spent a lot of time on it
Regidar: Worked on it since January 2013
Regidar: and it was such a departure from what I usually write
Regidar: sure, there were a few parts that could have been done better
Regidar: but I still think that's one of my best dark stories to date
Fim-INK: what inspired that story?
Regidar: nothing in particular, really
Regidar: I think it was me just going off of what ideas I could make
Regidar: two nirvana songs inspired it partially, or at least helped with the fleshing out process
Regidar: "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die" and "If You Must"
Fim-INK: speaking of which your obviously a huge Nirvana fan (to blame you) why is that
Fim-INK: I meant to day don’t blame you
Regidar: Last year at around the time I was becoming a brony
Regidar: I started to get more into rock
Regidar: and Nirvana stuck with me the most
Regidar: why is anyone's favorite band their favorite band?
Regidar: it resonated with me
Regidar: plus, I find Kurt Cobain to be endlessly interesting
Fim-INK: agreed
Fim-INK: now on to your story try not to die
Fim-INK: I am to assume you’re a fallout fan
Regidar: I am
Regidar: Got Fallout 3 back in August 2012
Regidar: loved it
Regidar: great game
Regidar: plot's a bit iffy
Regidar: but I loved the hell out of it nonetheless
Fim-INK: now you had Moira Brown, a fan favorite, come into Equestria
Fim-INK: that a little different from all the other fallout crossovers
Fim-INK: did you do that on purpose?
Regidar: yes
Regidar: because I saw all these Fallout crossover with the courier or the lone wanderer
Regidar: and though
Regidar: "why not Moira?"
Regidar: "I mean she has a personality that goes well with Equestria"
Fim-INK: have you read the original fall out crossover?
Regidar: I did
Regidar: I wasn’t a huge fan, but it was okay
Regidar: at the time of writing this, it was put onto fimfic and is in the featured box
Regidar: so I will be writing a parody of it
Regidar: "Fallout: Spaghettstria"
Fim-INK: we look forward to it
Fim-INK: you’re defiantly an author that goes his own direction do you have any suggestion to other writers?
Regidar: I do
Regidar: Ethesto is a generally funny guy, and a great writer
Regidar: he changes his name all the time though, so it's hard to pinpoint him
Regidar: and I'd say read his crap
Regidar: because any author wanting to be worth a damn needs to read his stuff
Regidar: also, don't be afraid to write what you want
Regidar: be creative, though
Regidar: if it's a done to death idea, don't bother
Regidar: unless it's a parody or an inversion
Regidar: don't worry about morals when writing, those slow you down
Regidar: make it as you see fit
Regidar: and if people don't like it?
Regidar: fuck them
Regidar: if people give you legit criticism though
Regidar: listen
Fim-INK: so I’m to assume you’re a furry?
Fim-INK: or whatever term you prefer
Regidar: I am
Regidar: not so much anymore
Regidar: but I still have furry friends, and I don't mind good furry art
Regidar: I think that furries look quite amazing and a bit beautiful, if done right
Regidar: I like the fantasy elements that are often incorporated
Regidar: plus, animals are cool
Fim-INK: would you ever co-author a story?
Regidar: I have, a few times actually
Regidar: once with Chuckward, and twice with Art Inspired
Fim-INK: last question
Fim-INK: where would you like this fandom to go?
Regidar: Honestly?
Regidar: I'd like it to shut the fuck up
Regidar: I have a problem with brony mentality
Regidar: I think that most of us want to be treated special or recognized for watching a TV show
Regidar: we shouldn't be
Regidar: we should just be quiet about it
Regidar: we would cut down on 70 percent of the "hate" we get if we just shut up about it
Regidar: hell, I find whovians in general more annoying, yet I think they're a better fan base because they don't act like entitled children for liking a TV show
Regidar: so if bronies learned to calm down and just be chill about it
Regidar: and not act like spoiled shits
Regidar: we'd be a better fandom
Fim-INK: Something to think about

Fim-Fic Interviews
If You Must

Down the darkest rabbit that I have ever leapt.
‘If You Must’ tells a dark story that is all too real for many children out there. It was honestly hard to finish this story but that what makes it so good; the details made me feel like Scootaloo wasn’t the only one being violated.
Love it or hate it if a story makes you feel anything then it well written; and man I hated it.
I hated it so much that I recommend reading it.
This is not a story of rape but a story of a young girl coping with something horrible and beyond her years and sadly losing to that battle.
The only complaint I had was that the ending seemed a little rushed, like all of a sudden the story was over.
Plot: 85% the buildup was excellent the details left you with few questions about the story.
Grammar and spelling: 95% A few errors but nothing that interrupted the story.
Character: 85% The characters were spot on but there wasn’t much to build on.
Delivery: 85% Pulled you in, almost against your will, but swift ending left me feeling incomplete
Overall: 87.5%

Try Not to Die

The detail and plot of the first chapter are good enough to pull you in and keeps you there. A lot of shout outs to fans of the game, ‘Fallout 3’ dot the chapter and basically plays the fiddle to them. However this is well executed with taste and melds into the story.

There are moments when the flow is choppy.

A few spelling mistakes tense issues and grammar but it did not slow down the chapter much.

If anyone deserves to leave fallout and enter Equestria its Moira Brown.
Unfortunately, after the first chapter, the characters become little more than puppets and don't do much more than talking. Its not boring to read Moira explain the Capital Waste to Celestia and Twilight, but it could have been a little bit better.
Then the next chapter was almost as good as the first.
Then they were right back to puppets.

Overall it was refreshing to see a fallout crossover that was an original idea that didn't rely on Kat creation as a back story. the quality was alright, and any fan of fallout 3 will enjoy this story.

Plot: 80% good start hard finish, but the story isn’t completed yet.
Grammar and spelling: 79% A few errors that felt like a surprise pot hole.
Character: 85% The characters were spot on, loved Moira but who doesn’t?
Delivery: 80% Pulled you in but then it let you flop around like a fish out of water.
Overall: 81%
