The Brushieverse is a group dedicated to telling to stories of Colgate and her friends around Equestria. Colgate is a skilled dentist and loves having fun as much as the next pony, unless that pony is Pinkie Pie. She is one of the few ponies who's special skill is not related to her job. Her special skill, indicated by her hourglass mark is time manipulation - she can slow down and stop time for short periods and can hop forwards or backwards in time, though the further she goes, the more draining it becomes. When she isn't working on teeth, Colgate has a very active sexual life, and is always willing to try something new or kinky

Berry Punch

Job: Wine maker
Berry is one of Colgate's closest friends, and the closest thing she has to a steady relationship. Berry is a talented Wine Maker, though she has a tendancy to oversample her own product. She has a filly, Berry Pinch, whom she loves dearly. She and Colgate are happy with their relationship the way it is now, and neither is currently looking for anything permenant

Cheerilee
Tribe: Earth Pony
Job: School Teacher
Berry Punch's older sister, Cheerilee is also quite open minded about her relationships. She and Colgate have often enjoyed friends with benefits encounters, and like Colgate, Cheerilee is more than willing to try out some roleplay to spice up a good time. She likes nothing more than to see her students grow and mature, and any wisdom she can impart along the way is a blessing.

Colagte accepted into School for gifted unicorns when she discovered talent for time magic, as shown by her hourglass mark. She studied there for some time, learning to control her powers (Think PPPIII Minty Fresh Adventure).

Would later become bored with time powers and decides to retrain as something else. Constant comments about how is looks like a tube of toothpaste makes her decide to become a dentist.

She becomes a qualified dentist, while still occasionally keeping up with her time magic studies and moves to small town of ponyville, where she thinks she can earn a good living from the earth Pony population who have to use their teeth for everything. Due to mistrust of both dentists and partially of unicorns in general, Colgate is unable to get into a relationship, plus she lacks the confidence to go out looking.

unconscious dentistry Picks up from here, with how Colgate looses her virginity to a stallion who is just passing through. based on that encounter, Colgate finds that she really likes sex and begins to be more assertive about getting it. Along the way, she discovers the more kinky side of her personality - toys, role play, etc. From there she starts to change her lifestyle, until she becomes the mare we know today.

I can imagne that as a teen rated fic - Colgate has to deal with a overzealous pony who sees her lifestyle as a sin against Luna. Colgate eventually counters it by revealing that she has already slept with Luna.
