Nexo Knights feels more like its trying to capitalize too much off of the success of RWBY with how the in-universe is seemingly structured. Only instead of characters named after weapons with flat one-dimensional personalities: RWBY has complex characters designed around or after characters from legends and myths with naming practices centered around or relating/correlating to the fundamental aspects of art: Colour.
