Hey, me again. Before we get started, I warn you this post will contain slight spoilers for an episode teased for season 4 at ComicCon.
As we saw in the season 4 animatics at this year's San Diego ComicCon, there will be an episode taking place in a city named Maretropolis with the mane 6 as the Power Ponies and Spike as a 60's Robin-esque sidekick.
This is are clear references to Superman's Metropolis and the 60's Adam West Batman.
Seeing as these characters originated from comic books(much cheesier and cornier comic books then what we're now accustomed to), does anyone here think the actual MLP comic books should make refences to other comic books? If so, which?
