I thought I'd also start a thread to list groups that were adminless at one point, but were successfully de-orphaned.

At the moment, the main one I can think of is the Scootaloo group, ironic as it might be. I pm'ed MagicalBrownie, asked about it on the group, and someone there knew him IRL. They talked to him, and he gave me and CluelessFilly admin rights.

Of course, CluelessFilly is MIA, but I've taken on several admins since then, so Scootaloo is in no danger of being orphaned again.
