Diamond Tiara is the leader, so naturally she gets the red ranger suit.

Sweetie Belle is the chick, so she gets the yellow ranger suit.

Scootaloo is the big girl (the comedic goof off), so she gets the black ranger suit.

Apple Bloom is the lancer (though in this case not technically second in command), so she gets the pink ranger suit.

Silver Spoon is the smart girl, so she gets the blue ranger suit.

And Babs gets one of the greatest sixith ranger suits of time, the green ranger suit!
