Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this competition and the judges spending their precious time reading all about our favorite couple. It really warms my heart to see all this new SpikeDashery.

And now, for the main event. After much time and effort put into the judging, we've come to a consensus on what the top three stories won! You all did very fantastic, but the stories that really shined go as follows:

1st Place: Competition and Companionship by Rinnaul

This story had managed to captivate the judges with it's excellent world-building and nicely paced story-line, as well as keeping in touch with the main theme and displaying it marvelously. The personalities were consistent, save for a few rough patches here and there, but overall it became an excellent product that left us with a want for more. Good on you.

2nd Place: Adrenaline Spike by FamousLastWords

This story took the cake for it's unique interpretation on the theme of Rivalry, presenting an internal one instead of external, a clash of emotions if you will. It gave excellent depth on why and how the unlikely couple were struggling with their everyday lives due to lost emotion and the pointless struggle in trying to reclaim it, only to find it in each other. However, the story itself felt as if there was more to be desired, and left quite a null effect on the reader. It is, on the other hand, a high quality fic that did what it was set out to do, mess with your feelings. And that, is why it has earned second place.

3rd Place: Dash and Burn by TheMessenger

This story took a more ironic approach to the theme, whereas, instead of having a competition for winning, it had one for quite literally "crashing and burning". It's execution and world building was absolutely spot-on, but that may have been what weakened it in the end. The pacing seemed off due to the superfluous amount of detail and it left you wondering where exactly the events of the story-line were going, with the ending being as abrupt as it was. It however stood out with it's almost spot-on personalities that felt almost practically canon and it blended in to make for well-rounded characters.

Congratulations to the three of you that won, and thank you once again to any and all who participated in this competition of ours. It was truly a pleasure to read through all the SpikeDash stories, and now we can revel in them as well. To the three of you that won, contact Vexy for the reward.

Thanks for participating folks, and now, I officially declare this competition over. Keep SpikeDashing on! :rainbowkiss::heart::moustache:
