hey everyone, i have recently joined this group and i have only read a few grimdark stories such as cupcakes and rainbow factory; and it got me inspired to write my first grimdark fic, but im not sure if this is would be considered grimdark or just something else. any help would be nice, thanks.

That does not say much.

Just to note - neither Cupcakes nor Rainbow Factory are the examples of outstanding dark. Cupcakes is little more then gorefest, and Rainbow Factory does not venture much further. They`re known simply for being first to achieve wide publicity.

That being said, I doubt anyone can help you at the moment. So far, you`ve said essentially nothing beside admitting to a tentative urge to write a dark story. If you want to hear anything constructive, you`ll have to offer some kind of plot idea, at the very least.
