Why does everyone go gaga over the whole "Second Coming of Christ" thing? According to the Bible it already happened.

He came to Earth as an infant.

Then he came back from the dead in his resurrection.

That's two comings.

So this "Second Coming" would actually be the Third Coming.

Anywho, I'm pretty sure that the second coming pertains to the end of the world in Revelations. Jesus' purpose to coming again..

Of course, in Lutheran teachings of Old Adam (Genesis Adam) and New Adam (Jesus), then I guess it does count of a second coming if your being literal.
