This is sort of a fun little discussion for all of you to participate in. Lets say you have to write a story (not literally, this is just a scenario) with vamponies and one other monster variant, however you aren't allowed to use Wereponies (werewolf ponies) as the second monster. What would you use?

Feel free to discuss this idea in any creative manner. Just don't be a jerk to anyone else participating in the discussion because of their monster.

EDIT: Please note that this is a parring of another monster species (aside from wereponies) in a world with Vamponies, however this doesn't mean that they have to be allies. If you think of a group of creatures that would serve as a good opposite to the Vamponies feel free to mention them as well.

Dragon. Long lived powerful predator . Possible magical blood. Could have centuries together.

A bit more. Fully capable of protecting said vampony during the day. Long relationship with benfits for both.
