Okay, so this is some unfortunate news, but in the end it will be a positive impact on Legends of Equestria. I submitted the story a little while ago to Equestria Daily and they wrote me back with some rather legitimate concerns. Some of the issues were so glaring (in retrospect, at least) that I am honestly shocked I didn't see them at first. Since I want this story to be the best it can be, I am sorry to announce that I will be on hiatus for some time while I search for an editor. Acts I and II will likely be undergoing a major rewrite over the course of this process, and hopefully will emerge as more complete expressions of the ideas I'm trying to get across.
So, Act III will unfortunately not be starting in the New Year as promised. Since I will be rebuilding much of the characterization, anyone out there that has read it should feel most welcome to PM me with suggestions for improvement.
On that note, if anyone out there knows an editor that could help me out, that is the thing I would most appreciate right now. Having looked over things again, I've been struck with several new inspirations on character interpretations and my flame of passion has been rekindled, so to speak. Once things are back on track, this universe can continue its journey to full expression.
