One Effort Ends; Another Begins

See that? I got to tag this blog post as related to Sun & Moon Act II. Because it is now a thing that is published. I really wanted to get that in before the 4-year anniversary of starting in September 1, and I did. Updates will come every Thursday, including this one. Overall, it's going to be a fairly long publication process, because it's not a short story by any stretch of the imagination.

The length of that publication will hopefully be giving me time to work on other things, so that once this story is done, I'll be able to start putting up Act III without so much of a delay as there was between Acts I and II. I've already started sketching out the outline for Act III, though it is likely to be another pretty big work, so time will tell as far as progress goes.

It's also quite possible that the next story I publish is actually not Act III, but another smaller intermediate work like I had with Scorpion Queen and Society. I do have a couple of ideas running through my mind on what other stories I could potentially work on, so I would only say to keep eyes open for whatever news happens on this front.

I will close off the post by wishing very heartfelt thanks to a principal collaborator of mine on A Crown Divided, that being my principal editor: The Fan Without A Face. We worked together for a few months, and I found their work to be of surpassing quality and impressive speed. I will likely be making use of their services in the future as well. They do charge for their work, but with editing, as with many things in life, you do get what you pay for, I think. Plus, I believe that if you're not writing a door-stopper like me you can get a flat rate for a much more agreeable price.

So very grateful and thankful to finally be here. I imagined this moment many times over the course of the last few years, with it often serving as inspiration to keep pushing on with the work. That I will continue to do, so I bid thee adieu.
