New Chapter Overdue - Update · 5:35am Oct 4th, 2022
At the time of writing, it is 1am, so I'm not going to be very professional and also hardly anyone reads these-
My wonderful personal goal is to get a chapter out every other month, which should be exceedingly easy bc my chapters average 4k words and sometimes I can write 1k in a day. Unfortunately, I have a surprising amount of things going on in my life and the attention span of a housefly on most days. In an ideal world, I'll be able to do regular writing streams every morning for about 2-3 hours and slowly build up progress. That's how it was in the past, and I would like to get back to that, the only reason I haven't is because my focus has shifted away from writing. School is relatively easy to keep up with as long as I do so regularly, and slotting in writing shouldn't be difficult, at least on paper. I'll be doing my best to finish up this chapter (which is already 3.5k words in) before too much longer. It's entirely a matter of getting my motivation back.
I would also like to use this time to say, I'm not giving up on Wishmaker. I still have a ton of ideas and think about the characters all the time, motivation is just a fickle thing and sometimes the days go by without anything happening at all.
