* Rivals of another skilled warriors who fights for the good (Splinter and Batman) and becomes the antagonist of their family background as well (TMNT and Bat-Family).
* Genius intellects as they are masterminds of countless crime operations and a very experienced fighters as not only they mastered a lot of martial art practices but they are very skilled tacticians as well.
* Utilizes a statistical enhancing arsenal that has been a signature thing in their character background (Mutagen serum and Lazarus Pit).
* They have a daughter (Karai and Talia al Ghul) who is their second in command but sometimes betrays them to help the protagonists.
* They have met and teamed up in Batman and TMNT crossover events.
