Hey.
Yeah, so, hi, I'm back.
It's been ... five years.
Look, five years ago, when I started Daughter of the Gods, I was thirteen. I'm now eighteen, at uni and have a job, as well as a half-finished original novel, so I have not much time.
However, I am going to do my absolute best to actually get back to DotG - you may have noticed the Interlude I posted about half-an-hour ago. I had to reread what I'd already written, take some time to cringe, and then wrote the interlude in less than an hour, so I think I might be getting somewhere.
I have started chapter 5, I am outlining where I want the story to go - and goddamn it, I'm not doing Trials of Apollo.
So.
Updates are likely to be erratic - I fell out of the fandom for five years, but it's just like riding a bike, honestly - I need to do some fine-tuning of the chapters already up, and I need an actual plot, but I have an idea and a plan, so I'm just going to barge in and do it. Oh well.
It's nice to be back.
I'mma be honest.
I used to have the story on the favorites bookshelf, but then a couple years passed, and i gave up hope.
Only read it like... Once.
Still, it's hard to forget the reasonable reaction to the events of Anon-a-Miss this starts with.
Point is, I'm looking forward to some shitheads getting their due at the cleansing heat of Greek Fire.
