Surgery, Books, and The Future

So everycreature, I have a few good things going on in my life right now. Firstly I have finally been approved for lasik surgery and am getting it soon (though I can't wear contacts leading up to the surgery so I'm having to get used to glasses again for the first time in years, and remembering why I stopped wearing them). Good news number 2 I saw the movie Prey and adored it so much I had to get back into the Predator franchise and decided to check out some of the novels I hadn't read yet, one thing led to another and I am now setting on a pile of novels as tall as a person (granted some of them are Predator, some Alien, some Alien Vs. Predator, some Star Wars, some Resident Evil, and one Perfect Dark... not sure how those last few got in there but I'm not complaining.) So yeah, getting my surgery soon and got plenty of material to read and relax with in bed while my cat sleeps on my lap... but that means I have not been writing and likely won't be for a while.

I feel bad because I do legitimately enjoy writing as a hobby so whenever I have to walk away from it for awhile it feels kinda sad, not to mention feeling like I might be letting any readers down even though I know you are all amazing and don't mind... but it is because you're all so amazing that I feel you deserve this explanation.

So yeah TLDR: Eye surgery in November, gonna read a bunch of books to relax leading up to it, and assuming it all goes well (wish me luck) do plan to get back to writing when possible

Yup, had to get glasses... probably in elementary school, it was so long ago I don't remember much about it. I switched to contacts in high school and now here I am post college and just sick of having to keep up with it all so I'm ready to have this surgery and be done with it.

Pretty good, I had it a few days ago and have been at home recuperating. They put "bandaid contacts" they called them on my eyes to help them heal but they come off tomorrow (which is good as they are pretty irritating) after that I have an appointment next week to make sure everything's healed up and nothings infected and that should be that Gonna make a blog post after that basically repeating all this and saying my plans to get back into writing
