Illustration of a moment from chapter VII July of Twilight's Blog, done as part of NATG V (prompt: draw a pony moving; draw a pony shaking).
Soaking wet, gasping for air, my heart pounding so fast I could feel it in my ears, I stood stock still in my library. I happened to be staring at my sorting table. There, on top of a neat stack of papers, illuminated by the continuous lightning flashes, was a printed program. "Blue Mare Group Outdoor Concert. Cloudsdale's Finest Brontotechnic Percussion Orchestra is coming to Ponyville! Be prepared to be amazed and thrilled as the Blue Mare Group unleashes thousands of tuned lightning strikes and musical rumbles to shake you to the bone!" And it went on to list the works to be performed. I'd just fled in terror from the second movement of Night Mare Mountain. Now I felt soaking wet and foalish. I'd forgotten all about it.
I've planned out the bumps in the road in the final quarter of Twilight's Blog. Next up is filling in all the gaps and details. All good things come to an end, eventually. I think I stuffed a chapter book somewhere in my house. I can remember quite a few details but I can't find the book.
An entity serving as fan fic bouncer for a site that need not be named, expressed disbelief that book horse, who can memorize complex spells after only reading them once, could remember what everypony said during a critical picnic planning conversation. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't, it's the gist and outcome of the conversation that mattered and book horse has a feel for what her friends would say and how they would say it. Yes, Pony Point of View (s6 e22) underlined the plasticity of memory, so unless some other ponies say different, you'll just have to take her word on it.
