    Well. The last post.

The last post wasn't quite informative. I admit. I've come back for a moment to explain something I dunno to whom. Maybe to myself.

    What happened?

Well... it was fun while it lasted

Well. I can't really keep going. Imma stop acting like everything is fine and put on a mask every day to convince myself that I'm not a worthless piece of shit that can't achieve anything. I've failed everything I've tried and I'm the only one to blame.

Project Lunarium: Voices of the Dammed, first reworked short-story is out.

My first story on Wattpad has been completely reworked and now it's out. It's not pony related so I cannot publish it here. Sadly.

#3 Lunarium Lore. · 11:05pm Jul 30th, 2022

The illustration isn't connected with Project Lunarium but it's a part of the lore.
************************

And then, the moon and his child, the night collided. The child, seeking revenge and justice, challenged the moon. It didn't want power nor be the only one. His reasons were much simpler. Much more mundane. It thought that moon was inequitable. Wrong. And so it wanted to prove that it can do better than that, without understanding the greater good. It wasn't seeking the crown but a confirmation of his misled point. And so the moon accepted the challenge, crying upon the fate his child has chosen. The moon was bleeding every time when the child tried to strike him, but not because of visible wounds. The words harmed him more than the cold blade of a halberd. He wasn't fighting to keep the crown or to be in control. He was defending his child from unforeseen consequences that the child didn't bother to think about. He was keeping the night away from dark secrets. From unbelievable threats hiding in the darkest corners of the galaxy, that his child couldn't handle. Though hurt and disappointed, the night was still his child he swore to protect. And so he did.

Lore background.
Before the Fall, there was another tale. Dashkin in lore was a half-god whose task was to stop the demons from flooding the world. The son of Luna. Through his journey, he met another half-god: a daughter of the fallen god of the forest. Tarit. They were in a deep love for years, but when the time has come, Dashkin sacrificed himself to save the world... and his loved one.

However, Luna couldn't accept it. He needed his son to be alive so he could help her deal with much bigger threats. He meant to be her right hand or a replacement when she was dealing with unimaginable danger. And so she made a choice. She talked with a god of death and traded the last half-god Tarit for her son. Half-god's soul for another half-god's soul. Dashkin came back, but Death took his loved one. Once he figured out what happened, he felt worthless and his sacrifice - meaningless. He promised revenge and headed to Luna to deliver justice. Luna knew that it was a hard choice, but there was no other way. But her son didn't listen. Drown into the darkness he challenged her mother to take her place and bring Tarit back to life, but he wasn't ready to deal with the things that Luna has been dealing with. And so she fought back but didn't want to kill her only son. She was trying to exhaust him and talk through his madness. After many weeks, she finally did it, but their relationship was never the same.

Sometimes, the wounds caused by words, can't be healed with time.

Explanation of the halberds' position.
In Lunar tradition, the way the wolves were holding their halberds meant their intentions.

Dashkin's halberd: Blade leaning on the floor, turned towards Luna means that he is ready to strike. He doesn't want to talk but to fight. He is the invader.
If the blade would be turned 180 degrees: He wants to talk, but he is ready to defend himself.

Luna's halberd:
It's a different kind of halberd, named "The protector". It was created in stars by pure magic and no matter how Luna turn the halberd, it always stays like in the art. It means that it will defend the Lunar faith and strike when there is a threat. She doesn't need to hold it with telekinesis as the weapon will always return to its original position, even if she would put it on the ground. It does communicate with Luna by telepathy.

When there is a threat, the halberd leans towards Luna, signalizing that Luna faces the enemy.

But when her son arrived, the weapon didn't move and said to Luna:

He's not your enemy. He's just lost.
