To those of you who have come to rely on my regularly scheduled programming, I have a small announcement to make. For the first two weeks of august, or at least for as long as the project takes, I will be taking a short break from writing at full pace. I will still be firing off a few hundred words a night, but it will not be my usual pace.
In planning for this, I have already begun an interim story, a short novelette that I will be posting at my regular intervals in place of my standard work. It's a very simple concept story, focusing on Rainbow Dash and Rarity, and which of them is The Bigger Pony. Hopefully, it will be enough to fill in the gap while I'm gone. My standard work will go on hiatus, whether that is my current story, or my next one, and it will resume after my return.
As for the reason I'm leaving, it would be best described as home repair. I'll be patching up holes in my walls, cleaning up burn marks, installing a new stud brace and giving everything a good, solid scrubbing. I may also have to do some plumbing repair. At least one pipe will need to be taken apart and put back together.
