I wish this heatwave would go away already. It's draining my energy something fierce.
Anyway, got motivated to get a little bit of writing done. It wasn't for Legends of Magic or the commission, unfortunately - a little bit of Broken Family, a story much later in the release schedule, called out to be typed out. Still, progress is progress.
I'm not optimistic about my chances of getting any serious writing done next week. Between my vacation getting bumped up a week and the two days off that I have being taken up by dentist appointments, vet appointments and other bibs and bobs, there's a lot to be done and not much time to do it all. I have every intention of making up for it during the vacation week, and I still plan on putting out Chapter Two for Legends of Magic on Tuesday, but still, not thrilled about it all.
Make do with what you have and all that, though.
It's all any of us can do, in the end. Make do with what we have.

I'm sorry the heatwave is still ongoing. As you said, I hope it ends soon.
If it helps, while I do get the 'make do with what you have' principle, and I agree it should not be disregarded, I do also think it's valid to wish you could have what you want, so to speak. While I understand why it may be unlikely, may you have what you want soon. :)
