If you say, you've found one, they will say you're crazy. If you show them where is it, they will call you a hero. If you bring one, you will be "the Chosen one". Right after they will put you in jail for 10 years
The Night Bloom is de facto a major reason why Lunarium even exists.
There are really rare and grow in only a handful of places around the North Region. Unlike the others, they don't require any water or sun to live whatsoever. They gain their vitality from the Night Radiation, which on its own is really rare in natural conditions.
The Night Blooms are quite big. They are 1.5m high and their leaves can spread at 2m to the sides. At the end of a massive beam, one can find multiple layers of 4 flakes. Their colours move from white at the tips to dark pomegranate - almost black. Each other layer is rotated 45 degrees compared to the next one (The Night Bloom may have up to 5 layers), where the penultimate one is hidden behind the last one. The last layer is a completely dark pomegranate with white aspects and lines across it.
Right in the centrum, one can find a white, shining core, which looks like a star.
Multiple types of research discovered many healing, magic and clearing abilities. The juice that can be taken from the flower can heal any toxic, radiation or even possession. The Night Bloom is described as a creation of gods. The flower can be found on Lunar's flag and symbol (and many other clans - in slightly changed form) as a simplified, 4-armed star with a silhouette of the leaves.
The Night Bloom is covered by thousands of legends and myths, most of them couldn't be confirmed nor denied (The Free Wolves clan described this flower as "The Flower of Walhala" as one of the legends states that it has been found by one of the leaders in a cave, where later the wolf found a portal to Walhala - Paradise. However, the researchers did find said cave and flower in front of it, but couldn't discover any connection with different worlds. Though the sensors did confirm that there was a portal somewhere, it was long gone).
Due to the rare nature of the flower, it is under unlimited protection and gained "relict" status. Grabbing it can lead to 10 years of jail. Any physical contact with the flower leads to its death. It turns into dust and disappears. The Night Bloom doesn't have any seeds or anything else. The Night Bloom doesn't have roots or anything that could keep it in the ground and yet it can shrug off a storm. It is possible that the flower is using some kind of invisible, dust branch.
The Night Bloom doesn't die naturally. Once grown it can live for centuries (until something touches it). The animals do not eat them and some of them even run away in panic upon the eye contact.
The Night Bloom probably uses psychedelic or hypnotic defence measures. The subjects did suffer an increasing headache upon eye contact with the Bloom. Some of them confirmed hearing whispers even though no system detected any telepathic activity.

This is the concept art of the most important flower for the Lunar clan. Small update about the story. It's still in progress. I'm currently working on the 11th chapter (half of it has been written). I do try to reconcile work and creating both lore and the story but it's going harder than expected. However, I'm still here. Still going and I ain't gonna stop. It will take some time, but I will get there ^^.
