The tentative release date for The Night’s Stars chapter 51, “Control Part 1” is in six days, on 6/16/22, at ~5 P.M. E.S.T.
This chapter was originally a single large chapter. It has history. Which I don’t remember. And extensive author’s notes. I might get around to rereading these chapters before putting them out but I’m not sure; I don’t have the drive or motivation to. I should be excited about upcoming chapters and I was yesterday and now I’m back to indifferent.
Without further ado, presented below are a series of excerpts from Control Part 1.
Thorax smiled, his wings jittering. “I’d like that. I’ve missed you too.”
“I see...” Nightmare muttered. “Perhaps... perhaps it is a good thing I have not told Cadance this, then. It is... not my secret to share.”
“I must admit, I did not expect—” Nightmare grunted as a tree limb slammed into her hooves, toppling her over.
Hard to find passable excerpts for this chapter or maybe it’s that my heart’s not in it. I did feel a little better from skimming the chapter to pick out excerpts, so maybe that’s a good thing.
