My complaint with the longer version which is my same complaint with most of the long 70s and '80s versions of songs is that it doesn't really actually add anything new. Like for example I love the Rubber Band Man by The spinners but the long version literally just has like six or seven choruses in a row at the end.

I agree to be honest. I just like the beat and feel to the song a great deal, so it outweighs that grievance (for me anyways).
