More Maps! (Not an Update) · 11:54pm May 11th, 2022
So the upside of getting my teeth violently yanked out of my mouth is that I was in too much discomfort to focus on school. As such, I spent my time doing something more useful: maps! I finished two more while in agony and the core regions of my fantasy setting are complete!
BEHOLD!
My maps! The most observant among you may notice that they do not line up perfectly, and that's okay! I've drawn these in a stylized way, not really giving a damn about a lot of things. Their purpose is to help me visualize my setting and give me ideas for stories, not to accurately represent its geography. In that way each map is self-contained and a loose guide on where everything is. I'm pretty happy with them ngl! There's two more I need to draw to have the entire continent drawn up, and after that I can get started on the other uuuhhhh three continents of my setting. Then there's a few islands and regions that I'll either merge into the continents or draw as standalones.
Anyways, that's about it! Adios!
These maps look fantastic!
What map software did you use?

They're digitally hand-drawn! I used Krita and the standard brushes, so nothing really fancy. I do have a wacom intuos pen tablet tho. It makes the whole process a lot easier ngl.
