Indefinite Hiatus + Small update · 9:46am May 7th, 2022

It's actually been almost a year since my last blog post, and something just made me open this again after so long...

Hmm, how can I say this... I'm afraid that I'll be on an indefinite hiatus from writing, or at least only write when the stars align for me. Don't worry, I'm still alright~ In fact, life's been SO much better since I joined a paid internship program last month. After three years of struggle... I reached something, and I'm so happy . Hopefully this creates an opportunity for an actual career.

So, what's up with the hiatus if things are looking good? Well...

I think after all this time... my fountain of fanfic inspiration had dried out. Is it burnout? Maybe. But I just... lost interest somehow? Don't get me wrong, I still love MLP, and in rare times, would read fics too. It's just I don't have the... desire to write anything. Ideas might be there, but it's mostly stuff that are way too ambitious, when I'm not a multi-chapter writer. The only one of those I did is A Herd of Ponies and Ungulates, and that took one year to finish, even though it's super fun to work on it, it's just draining to write something that long. Hell, I really want to write a sequel to that fic of sorts, but I just have no inspiration nor motivation to do it.

Honestly, I'm afraid I won't know when I'll be back, or even... if I'll be back to writing at all. Maybe I'll take a peek in this place a few times, but that's pretty much the only thing I'll do. It was fun doing so, so I have no regrets writing and posting some of my fics here, and meeting some cool guys~

So, that's it I suppose. TLDR; in indefinite hiatus, lost motivation.

Thank you, thank you truly for dealing with this rookie writer, and may Princess Twilight bless your day to be better :raritywink:
