Although something tells me anything post-ROTJ would have been de-canonized anyway because, unless cloning is involved, Darth Talon's appearance in this Sequel Trilogy would have contradicted her appearance in Star Wars: Legacy.

Still, here's hoping we get a spiritual successor to these plans.

Are you an anti-Star Wars sequel trilogy person, by any chance?

Despite their flaws, I did use to like The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Then the Rise of Skywalker happened and, combined with the knowledge that Lucasfilm (and, by extension, Disney) didn't really have an overarching plan for the trilogy, Colin Trevorrow being replaced with J.J Abrams over creative differences, and that they ignored George Lucas' ideas in favour of their own caused me to dislike the sequel trilogy as a whole.

That said, I still have a soft spot for The Last Jedi.

Ironically, there were a great many significant ideas from George Lucas that were able to come through in the trilogy. For instance, Palpatine’s return was planned by Lucas long before development on the trilogy began.

That being said, despite having enjoyed the trilogy, I wouldn’t mind seeing the films be given more buildup through TV shows and miniseries like the other trilogies did. Heck, I’ve been particularly interested in seeing a live-action or animated TV show taking place between “The Last Jedi” and “The Rise of Skywalker”.
